Hullabaloo:

   Anyone else excited that there is a new 2-D animated movie in the works?  I know I sure am.  Especially when I see that Disney veterans like James Lopez( Lion King,Pocahontas )and Rick Framiloe( The Little Mermaid, Aladdin,etc ) are working on it.
 
  While 3-D animation can produce breath-taking movies, and they certainly are very many good ones( like How To Train Your Dragon and WALL-E for example ), I find myself missing charming 2-D animation in movies.  So, I was excited to learn of Disney's new project, Hullabaloo.  First of all, the movies set in a Steampunk style( Victorian Age+Future tech ), which always has neat potential to it. It also has two intelligent, female engineers as the main protagonists, rather than some brave prince who saves the princess from blah-blah-blah( Good step forward Disney ). Disney's goal for the movie on Indiegogo was $80,000, they are currently at $303,854 and the donation period isn't even over, so I'm clearly among a lot of people who want 2-D animated movies to come back.
